Brass Fasteners
A
fastener is a hardware device that mechanically joins or affixes two or
more objects together. Fasteners have plenty of applications in the
forms of Nut, Bolt, Screw, Pin, Stud, Rivet, Washers and Anchors etc.
and are generally made by turning or cold forging processes. Fasteners
are required by almost all the industries to secure & fulfill the
mechanical need of the concern application. Bolted connections are used
when it is necessary to fasten two elements tightly together,
especially to resist shear and bending, as in column and beam
connections. Threaded metal bolts are always used in conjunction with
nuts. Another threaded fastener is the screw, which has countless
applications, especially for wood construction. Pins are used to keep
two or more elements in alignment; since the pin is not threaded, it
allows for rotational movement, as in machinery parts.
The rivet is a metal pin fastener with one end flattened into a head by
hammering it through a metal gusset plate. Material: Fasteners can be
made available in Brass, Steel & Stainless Steel material as per
customers requirement followed by World standards such as DIN, ISO,
ASTM, BS etc. Sizes & Types: Any thread size right from Metric (mm)
to Withworth Threads like BA , BSW, BSP, BSF to American Threads like
UNC, UNF, UNEF, NPT to Valve Threads like V5, V6,V8, V10 etc. Fasteners
can be produced in head shape of Round, Hexagon, Octagon, Square etc as
per custom design & specification. Finish: Generally Brass
Fasteners comes with the Natural & Nickel Finish, Steel Fasteners
with Yellow or White Zinc & SS fasteners with natural shine of
itself. But Surface Finishes such as Chromium Tin, Silver, Gold, Zinc
etc. can be achieved as per custom requirement.
